9 things on this site that do a job: work out a number, show you the market, or answer a question that has one right answer. All free, none of them behind a sign in.

Work out a number

Each of these runs on figures you enter. Where an assumption is needed, it is a field rather than something we picked for you.

Read the market

Live figures from public spot markets, arranged so you can see the whole of something at once.

Check something

Reference rather than arithmetic, for the questions that have one right answer.

Questions

No. Everything listed here runs in the browser on figures you enter or on public market data, and none of it asks you to sign in first.

Because the honest answer depends on things the page cannot see: where you live, what else you earn, what you paid. A tool that fills those in for you has decided something on your behalf and hidden the decision inside a result. Every assumption on this site is a field you can argue with.

Public spot markets, live. They are the mid market figures you would see quoted anywhere, before any fee or spread, which is why the calculators ask you to add your own costs rather than pretending to know them.

No. There is no server behind these tools. What you enter lives in the browser tab and goes when you close it.

These tools do arithmetic on figures you provide and show public market data. Nothing here is investment, tax or financial advice, and no result is a forecast. See our risk disclosure.
